The Heart of the neighborhood: Etcetera Coffeehouse

Etcetera Coffee

320 N. 6th St

While Etcetera serves great, fair trade coffee drinks & bubble tea and delicious baked goods made on site, Etcetera is much more – it truly is the central hub for the Lower Town community. Each day of the week you will find a group or two of regulars chatting it up. All the area’s activities are plastered on their windows. Emerging art is exhibited inside. Outside you’ll find an art walk, labyrinth, mural walls, and Vinnie, Etcetera’s orange, back patio tenant.

Newcomer tips: the house blend, Love Buzz, is great and arrive early Saturday morning for the quiche – only available on weekends and sells out fast.

Paducah Beer Werks

Newcomer tip: Todd’s Robust Porter is brilliant, particularly with the Blossom Burger or a 4 Horsemen pizza.

Entrance to Terra Cottage
Terra Cottage: studio of that Poet Guy: Michael Terra

Terra Cottage Studios

514 N. 7th St

Michael (the artist/poet guy) and Victoria (the logistics goddess) Terra have been over the past 25+ years selling Michael’s ceramic art (unapologetic link to our online store). Due to some crummy health issues in his hands, back & shoulder due to getting hit by a bus, Michael is back to his roots of painting and, using his tablet, he has been creating some really wonderful digital paintings. Always the poet, each painting includes one of his original poems. So there you have it…

Visit the studio, most weekdays.
